Learning Te Reo!

For the last 2 terms Mrs Hall, Mrs Allan, Miss McDonald, and I have been learning Te Reo Māori. We have been attending weekly classes where we get to practise our pepeha, learn new phrases and understand sentence structure.

To graduate the course we were asked to implement Te Reo into the class and get our tamariki learning new words.

This week I have challenged Tanemahuta to learn the names of classroom equipment. I am so proud of the effort and enthusiasm that they have put into our lessons!

Have a look at the slides below to see our learning in action...

Tino pai tō mahi Tanemahuta!
