It was lovely seeing these wonderful Tanemahuta children on our Google Meet.
We spent some time working on Impromptu Speeches. Each person got to choose a random number from below, and then had a moment to think about the prompt before sharing their ideas. I am very impressed how everyone gave it a go! Some people enjoyed it so much that they went 2 or 3 times!
I wonder if you could make this into a game to play at home?

ReplyDeleteEveryone got to choose a different speech topic - we had speeches about why Friday is the best day of the week, the best thing ever invented is sausages, the best day of someone's life is the day they were born, sweet food is better than savoury food, swimming at the beach is better than swimming at the pool and many other topics!
